UPC Representative and Attorney at Law

Isabelle Vermeyen is a UPC Representative and Attorney at Law active in the fields of intellectual property, life sciences and regulatory law. She supports Belgian and international clients in patent litigation, as well as in advisory and other contentious matters, including disputes with a regulatory or compliance dimension.

Isabelle’s work is characterised by a multidisciplinary perspective, combining intellectual property considerations with regulatory analysis and dispute resolution. She contributes to complex matters that require careful factual and legal assessment, working closely with senior lawyers on litigation and advisory files.

Prior to joining the firm, Isabelle gained experience in a variety of legal and policy-driven environments. She worked with non-governmental organisations, including the Red Cross and FAIRWORK Belgium, and acted as a legal advisor to a Belgian healthcare and technology start-up. During her academic training, she also completed an internship at the Institute for the Equality of Women and Men, broadening her exposure to institutional legal work.

Isabelle brings a strong academic background and an international outlook to her practice, supported by legal studies in Belgium and a short-term exchange programme in China. Her work is marked by a thorough and analytical approach, adaptability and a clear awareness of the broader commercial and societal context in which legal issues arise.
